Ben is getting to the age where he likes to draw. At first he would just bring the paper to Colin or me and ask us to do the drawing for him. These days he does it all himself and tells us what it is, which is a good thing, because we'd never be able to guess from looking at it!
Of course markers are good for more fun than just drawing. I actually think Ben enjoys putting them away in the little plastic package as much as he enjoys using them.
I decided to keep crayons, glue, stickers and envelopes with pictures and letters I cut out of magazines for Ben to use as a special activity when he's bored. Izzie was denied the markers, stickers, scissors (Ben too!) and glue but we let her play with the container.
Looks like she's ready to start using a cup!

That's funny! Sam's favourite part of drawing is taking all the lids off of the markers. And like Ben, he also likes putting them away back into their box, saying either "ba" (for "back") or "geeda" (for "clean-up").
