All the elementary students and teachers drew a figure on this mural designed by our art teacher. It's now hanging in the foyer of the school. Ben, Izzie and I are all in here... can you spot us?

Austin Visit
When we weren't dressed up as gorillas we spent some time visiting Katie, Marvin, Dupree and GG.
Ben and Izzie were very taken with Dupree.
The family - it was Katie's birthday!
Dupree got an intense work out chasing balls and jumping up to get the toys the kids were teasing him with.
Ben and Izzie were so excited to play with him, but I couldn't help worrying someone was going to step on him and... well, thank goodness nobody did.
We played Greedy and Ben was the scorekeeper.
Love this face!
Oh to be as photogenic as Katie!

Gorilla Run
Before we left to go back to Canada, we stopped to see Katie and GG in Austin. (Great Grandma) Colin or Grandma Ann (whose bright idea was that?) signed up for a 5k fun run to support gorillas - and everyone participating got a gorilla suit to wear. And keep. It turned out to be lots of fun, and who knows what we might need those suits for in the future!
Izzie must be hiding her head in embarassment because she doesn't look like the rest of the family.
Or maybe she does. Behold the Gorilla Queen in all her glory.
Gorilla food.
Gorilla poo. Yup, he ate that.
Gorilla Colin is lurking amongst the medical gorillas.
Ben and his mama gorilla.

Oklahoma 2014
Here are some of the highlights from our trip to Oklahoma in January... Yup, still catching up.
There were a lot of nuts!
Sitting in Johnie's boat. I had to include this one to show off Izzie's Goodwill bargain. I think she got 50% off of 25 cents.
Playing games at Grandma Ann's.
Playing with Pete.
Izzie's castle, made out of a toilet box, and fancied up with aluminum foil and gift bows. Grandma had to tie her princess gown about a hundred times while we were there. If you are wondering about the fish face, Izzie was determined not to smile for this picture, because that would be cooperating...
Hector and Grandpa. At first the cats only came out if Grandpa was around, but they warmed up to us a bit by the end.

January Visit to Seoul
We stopped to visit our friends in Seoul before leaving for North America. One day we went to... it's been so long, I've forgotten the name of it. Anyway, it had bouncy castles, a train ride, ball pits etc. For an extra fee the kids took a lesson in making Korean rice cakes.
