We've started some herbs, tomato and pepper plants and have been checking each day to see what how many are up and if they need to be watered.
Izzie takes her watering seriously. She finds it highly irritating that I like to help her with this task, but otherwise she jabs the spout right into the dirt stabbing plants left and right... and then she'll try to sneak a drink herself.

Kids just want to help. Katie wasn't much older than Izzie when she was helping water the flowers. I said 'don't put the water directly on the flowers' to which she replied "you said water the flowers". Guess I should have said water the dirt.
