Ben loves to wear our accessories: sunglasses, hats, shoes, the oven mitts... Here he is trying on Daddy's shinguards.

We obviously set this picture up. Don't worry, Karen's hands were just out of the frame, and as evidenced by the birth, she's pretty good at catching babies. Izzie is surrounded by some of the books Colin has been studying for school.
Ben checking out the kitchen set from Colin's parents.
Ben enjoying the assembled product. He loves to cook things in the "beep beep."
Izzie, 4 days old, conked out in her party dress. (This dress was the dress I came home from the hospital in 32 years ago!)
This is the face Ben makes when he's scared. At this particular moment he heard a motorcycle suddenly roar up the street, but at other times the things he chooses to be scared of are pretty random. The FBI warning at the beginning of movies, for example, or a cartoon with a hippo and dog speaking French!
Ben saw some older boys with their shoes off wallowing in the mud up to their knees and desperately wanted to join them. He kept asking to go in the "bath!" I hadn't brought an extra outfit so I vetoed the mud wallowing. Luckily Ben was content to settle for splashing in the water off the end of the boat ramp instead.
He's just so cute I had to add another picture even though it's similar.
They had free tattoos and stickers. I thought we might have to put it on his belly in order to find an expanse of skin wide enough for it to fit!
