Poor Sam! That's what I think when I look at those pictures. I know he's TRYING to smile, he just doesn't really know how to do it on command. What can I say? He's a little un-coordinated when it comes to the oral motor skills area. You'd think as an SLP that I'd be able to help with that, but no.
I wonder how he'll do when he tries to blow out his birthday candles at his (early) party tomorrow!
